Israeli students to visit West Bank city of Shiloh on school trips, Education Minister says
Gideon Sa'ar announced program for pupils to visit Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron to get to know 'historic roots' of state of Israel in February; site of ancient city of Shiloh is latest addition to program.
Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced Tuesday that the West Bank site of Shiloh will be added to a list of sites Israeli school students visit as part of a program to get to know “the historic roots of the State of Israel in the Land of Israel”.
Speaking at Shiloh, Sa’ar said the initiative was “the continuation of our line to provide the younger generation with access to our historic roots”….
