Rami Levi cellular venture goes live

Cellular chickens come home to roost.

Cellular competition started yesterday as Rami Levi Communications launched its new cellular venture, with an offer of calls for only 20 agorot per minute.

The business started with six customer-service representatives in a small room at a branch of Rami Levi Shivuk Hashikma supermarket in Jerusalem's Givat Shaul. The supermarket chain set up similar offices in its Talpiot branch in the capital and in Ramat Gan, and cellular stores will open over the next few days in all Rami Levi supermarkets around the country….
