Am Tag der Parlamentswahl in Israel hat die Likud-Partei mindestens 1200 versteckte Kameras in Wahllokalen plaziert, die vornehmlich von arabisch-israelischen Wählern besucht wurden. Einen Tag nach der Wahl verbreitete die PR-Firma Kaizler Inbar ein Bild im Internet, das ihre beiden Vorsitzenden gemeinsam mit Ministerpräsident Benjamin Netanjahu und dessen Ehefrau zeigt. Darunter schrieben sie: Nach einer „langen Zeit der Vorbereitung“ und „in engster Partnerschaft mit den besten Leuten im Likud“ habe man „eine Operation begonnen, die entscheidend zu einem der wichtigsten Erfolge im nationalen Lager beigetragen hat“. Weil sie Beobachter in „jedes Wahllokal gesetzt haben, ist die Wahlbeteiligung auf unter fünfzig Prozent gesunken, die geringste in den vergangenen Jahren“….
Kommentar:Wenn die Kameras versteckt waren, haben die meisten Wähler sie gar nicht wahrgenommen!! Was soll das?? W.D.

Sie rufen zum Boykott bestimmter Turnschuhe auf, wettern gegen Konzerte in Tel Aviv, schneiden israelische Wissenschaftler, ziehen mit Flugblättern vor Geschäftsstellen von Versicherungen und rufen dazu auf, keine israelischen Waren aus den besetzten Gebieten zu kaufen. Die Aktivisten der Kampagne „Boykott, Desinvestitionen und Sanktionen für Palästina“ (BDS), machen weltweit Front gegen den jüdischen Staat, auch in Deutschland. In Berlin riefen sie zum Boykott eines Kulturfestivals auf, weil die israelische Botschaft einige Flüge von Künstlern bezahlt hatte. Nun formiert sich im Bundestag Widerstand gegen die Kampagne….

Außenminister Lawrow hat am Montag mit dem palästinensischen Außenminister Riyadh al-Maliki über die Einigung im Nahen Osten gesprochen. Dies berichtet das russische Außenministerium. „Im Laufe des Gesprächs wurde das Problem der Nahost-Regelung mit dem Schwerpunkt auf der aktuellen Entwicklung der Situation in den palästinensischen Gebieten und der schnellstmöglichen Wiederherstellung der palästinensischen nationalen Einheit besprochen“, heißt es in dem Bericht….

Die Stadt Aub gedenkt der Retter von Baldersheim
Am Sonntag, den 07.04.2019 fand im Fränkischen Spitalmuseum – einem ehemaligen Nonnenkloster – in der Stadt Aub im südlichen Landkreis Würzburg die Eröffnung einer ganz besonderen Ausstellung statt, zu welcher der Bürgermeister von Aub, Robert Melber, eingeladen hatte. Grund für diese Ausstellung war ein Ereignis, das am gleichen Tag 74 Jahre zuvor stattgefunden hatte….

Gesamte Hisbollah gehört auf Terrorliste
Vor einigen Wochen hat die britische Regierung bekannt gegeben, die gesamte Hisbollah, und nicht nur wie bisher ihren „militärischen Flügel“, als Terrororganisation einzustufen. Sie folgt damit dem Beispiel der Niederlande und Kanadas. Auch in den USA, Israel und zahlreichen arabischen Staaten ist die libanesische Miliz schon lange in ihrer Gesamtheit verboten. Aus Österreich und den sonstigen EU-Staaten, wo bisher nur der „militärische Flügel“ als terroristisch eingestuft wird, sind derzeit keine derartigen Bemühungen bekannt – und das ist bemerkenswert. Immerhin inszeniert sich die türkis-blaue Bundesregierung in Wien als große Vorkämpferin gegen den Islamismus. Bisher scheint mit der Hisbollah aber eine der schlagkräftigsten islamistischen Terrororganisationen nicht einmal im österreichischen Verfassungsschutzbericht auf….

Dabei nutzte sie die Gelegenheit um ihre dringende Unterstützung einer Zwei-Staaten-Lösung zu betonen. Diese Lösung sei das Ziel der internationalen Bemühungen zur Beilegung des Nahost-Konflikts. Gleichzeitig erklärte die Kanzlerin, dass sie weiterhin eng mit der israelischen Regierung zusammenarbeiten wolle….

Rumors swirled Sunday night that the remains of legendary Israeli spy Eli Cohen were on their way to Israel from Syria with a Russian delegation just weeks after an IDF soldier missing for close to four decades was brought back for burial. Israeli cabinet ministers have refused to comment on the rumors which were first published by Channel 12 News Sunday night which were also questioned by other news channels as there were no official Syrian opposition reports rather only flimsy social media accounts….

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif issued a “reminder” Monday to European powers that Tehran is allowed to enrich uranium under its nuclear deal, after a senior French diplomat claimed otherwise. “There is no prohibition on the enrichment of uranium by Iran,” Zarif tweeted. His comments were addressed to France, Germany and Britain, signatories to the landmark 2015 accord with Tehran under which uranium enrichment is curtailed but not banned….
