Entire swathes of the Israeli economy are riddled with economic concentration, one understands from the final recommendations of the Trajtenberg Committee, mandated with proposing socioeconomic reforms to better the lot of the Israeli public.
The committee, headed by Manuel Trajtenberg, filed its recommendations yesterday, covering a vast range of sectors in which the absence of competition, economic concentration, cronyism and poor productivity wind up costing the public….
