Throughout the year I teach a lot of cooking classes to groups around the country, and this time of year I teach brides to-be how to cook and set up their home kitchens. I love teaching and have always thought that if I could combine my two favorite activities; cooking and teaching, I would be in career heaven.
The bridal cooking classes are always interesting because I am often surprised by what they want to learn. Occasionally I am called upon to teach their intended’s favorite dish like steak, osso buco, some ethnic foods and the obvious sushi. But by far the most popular topic is brisket….
