Spokesman for rebel National Libyan Council says victory against Libya's longtime leader will only come when rebels get a no-fly zone, an issue that Western nations are seriously debating.
Libya's embattled leader Muammar Gadhafi said on Wednesday that the United States, France and Britain were conspiring against Libya to get control of its oil fields.
In a speech to supporters broadcast by state television, Gadhafi also called on citizens in the city of Zitan to abandon the rebels, who are currently battling government forces for control of the city. He presented members of a clan based in the city who apparently had pledged their loyalty to him….
