Israel’s State Comptroller severely criticized the Interior Ministry Monday for the method by which the latter decides to allocate funds to local councils around the country, including several West Bank settlements.
According to a State Comptroller report, the Interior Ministry allocates funds to local councils without first checking whether they are entitled to them, and that the ministry does not demand the necessary documents, nor provides justifications for its decisions….
