Saudi Arabia revises anti-terror law, after criticism by human rights groups

Amnesty International had said that Saudi authorities could use the proposed law to stifle dissent and pro-democracy protests.

Saudi Arabia has revised an anti-terrorism law and made it less severe than a leaked version that was heavily criticized by human rights groups, a Shura Council spokesman said on Saturday.
