Snow falls in Jerusalem after days of preparation

Municipality prepares to clear roads, help needy keep warm; at least 3 cm of snow fall in nation's capital.

Snow fell on Jerusalem Thursday overnight, after days of preparation by the municipality. At least 3 cm of snow fell by early Friday morning, with weather forecasters predicting at least 10 cm throughout the day.
Meanwhile, the Golan Heights region was frozen over, as snow flurries blew in throughout the North and along the central mountains. Light snow was expected in the Negev mountains….
