Syrian protesters amass by Israel border ahead of Naksa Day rallies

IDF on high alert ahead of a possible attempt by thousands of Palestinian refugees to storm the border of the Golan Heights on anniversary of the beginning of the Six-Day War.

Dozens of Syrian nationals amassed near the country's border with Israel on Sunday, as Israeli security forces braced for possible border clashes with protesters marking Naksa Day, the anniversary of the beginning of the Six-Day War.
Initial reports stated that the protesters were beginning to gather at the foot of what is known as "The Hill of Shouting," opposite the Golan Heights town of Majdal Shams….
