Signs of economic development in Arab cities prompts Israeli banks to open more branches in Arab communities.

Signs of economic development in Arab cities and towns have apparently made them attractive to Israel's banks over the past year. A top team from Bank Hapoalim, including chairman Yair Seroussi, is spending the day today in Nazareth for the second annual Israeli Arab business conference – whose primary sponsor is the bank itself.
And Hapoalim isn't settling for lip service by sponsoring a conference and then forgetting the whole thing. In the past year it has stormed Arab and mixed Arab-Jewish cities and towns; there can be no other word for opening 15 branches within a year in those areas….
