Weekend Walk: Ein Hod artists' village

Art is the main focus of this former kibbutz located deep within the Carmel Mountains; enjoy a relaxed pace family day out.

To reach Ein Hod, take Route 2 north to Atlit/Bet Oren turnoff and then travel south on Route 4 and turn left at signposts for Ein Hod. Drive uphill for about 1km. Ein Hod is located on the right-hand-side of the road, with a parking lot on the left. 
The main theme at Ein Hod is art. The residents of the former Kibbutz live and breathe art and at the weekend they open their houses to show off their creations. Take a stroll through the cobbled streets and alleys where many exciting secrets can be discovered. There are also a number of small museums which hold more permanent exhibitions of the exceptional artwork available….
