IDF soldier stabbed in stomach in northern Israel

Police arrest 16-year-old youth on suspicion of stabbing the soldier, a resident of the Druze village of Kisra, who entered an olive grove while waiting to hitchhike home.

An Israel Defense Forces soldier was stabbed in his stomach on Thursday near the northern Israeli city of Carmiel.
According to an initial investigation by the police, the soldier was hitchhiking with a friend, also a soldier, at an intersection near Carmiel. The two soldiers were reportedly trying to get back to their homes at the Druze village of Kisra from their military base….
